• The Sknlogic peel system can only be performed by a trained skin treatment professional. • The peel is most suitable for clients that fall between I and III on the Fitzpatrick model, male or female, all age groups over 16. • The multipeel gradually work down to the basal cell layer of the epidermis, and only removes the excess layers of dead skin, leaving the healthy skin alone. • Always do a patch test at least 24 hours before use. • Cleanse the face thoroughly with Sknlogic cleanser, use either Cleanse wash or Cleanse gel according to skin type, refrain from using Cleanse cream, to remove any make-up, excess oil or cell debris. • Exfoliate the skin using Sknlogic Exfoliate enzymatic. • Ensure all product is thoroughly removed with gauze. • Replace water with clean water and cleanse with water and new gauze again. • Apply Sknlogic Tone with gauze. • New gauze must be used every time. • Ensure the skin is dry before application to prevent dilution. • Apply solution in a thin even layer over the area to be treated with a dry brush starting at the forehead and working your way down to the neck. • Execute a systematic application in parallel lines, ensuring no pooling in facial folds or dripping/running of acid over the skin. • Avoid the upper eyelids, area under the eyebrows, corners of the eyes and lips, around the nostrils and any areas with broken capillaries. • Use with caution under the eyes and apply a very thin layer only. • Leave on the skin for 5 – 15 minutes depending on the skin and the number of the treatment. Very unhealthy and thick skin will benefit from longer treatment time. • If burning occurs neutralize immediately. Start at 5 minutes for the first treatment and gradually build up to 15 minutes in increments of 5 minutes. Judge each case individually and work conservatively. • Any signs of redness, or a client discomfort score of more than 7/10 is an indication for immediate neutralization. • This is a time dependent peel and must be neutralized thoroughly after the required time. • Ensure that the client is informed of the reaction expected from the peel. • Wash the face with clean water, using gauze. • Wash the face with Sknlogic Neutralizer, using gauze. • Pat face dry and neutralize again with Sknlogic Neutralizer using new gauze. • Wash the face with clean water, using gauze. • Client to perform the lick test around the mouth. If fruity, sour or bitter taste, cleanse again until no taste is present. • Apply Moist supreme. • Apply Sknlogic Protect, it is imperative that the client use Sknlogic protect sunscreen every day and they must avoid sun exposure. • One treatment per week for 6 – 10 weeks. Can be repeated every 6 – 12 months. Preferably during the winter. • Do not leave the room while the peel is on.
